Without any specific reason, I have spent the past few months predominantly birdwatching outside my familiar surroundings. During the Botterdagen festival in Huizen, I decided to take an additional ride around the village and head towards the pier and Naarder Eng. The beauty of this area never ceases to amaze me. As a result, I’ve made up my mind to visit this place more often—it’s just around the corner, after all.
