Rick van Lieshout
I think it’s needless to say my name is Rick van Lieshout (would be a bit weird to use someone else URL right?). I’m a Dutch guy, living in Huizen with my family and combine the hobby ‘birds’ with ‘nature’ and ‘photography’. In 2014 I decided to keep my family and friends updated while I traveled through South-East Asia and Australia for about 7 months.
Once I came back to the Netherlands I left my blog for what it was and continued with my life. I started working full time, became the father of 2 sons and moved from Amsterdam to Diemen and eventually to Huizen where I enjoy the heathland, forests and polder around me pretty much every week.
With the blog and the URL still in my possession, I decided a couple years back (actually mainly for myself) to update my blog again, to give it a new look and so rickvanlieshout.nl was created as it is today. A collection of my photos that I take in the Netherlands and during my vacations. I try to regularly update this website as much as possible.
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do.
